What is apkdown?
apkdown is file hosting built for package distribution. Upload an APK or any file and it gives you a short link plus a download page with install instructions, along with download analytics, access control, subscription plans and referral commissions.
Compared with a general-purpose cloud drive, it focuses on the app distribution use case: automatic APK metadata parsing, WeChat in-app browser handoff, install instructions on the download page, and per-channel download counts.
What is the maximum file size?
Free allows 100 MB per file, Pro 800 MB and Business 5 GB.
If a file exceeds your plan limit you can upgrade, or check the dashboard to see whether an administrator has raised the limit for your account. Size is validated before the upload starts, so a rejected file costs no bandwidth.
Why did a link stop working?
A download link stops working when:
- Its expiry date has passed
- Its download limit has been reached
- The file was taken down by an administrator or failed security scanning
- The uploader deleted the file or disabled the link
The download page always shows a clear explanation rather than a blank page. If you are the uploader, check the link status and remaining downloads in the dashboard.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and wallet balance.
The wallet can be topped up with redemption codes. Referring friends earns commission, which can be withdrawn or spent on a plan once it clears.
If you have a coupon, enter it at checkout — the discount is applied and the amount due updates immediately.
