Creating and managing links

Generate a link

In Files, click Links on a file row to create a short download link. A single file can have many links, one per channel, each with its own download statistics.

Options

Path

By default a random short code is generated. You can also pick a memorable path such as /s/wechat or /s/ios-test to tell channels apart.

Password

With a password set, visitors must enter it before the download button appears — useful for internal test builds.

Expiry and download limit

Set an expiry date or a maximum number of downloads. Once either limit is hit the link stops working and the download page explains why.

Access control

Links support IP allow/deny lists and region restrictions to scope distribution.

Download page content

Each link can define its own title, description, version, package name and install notes, all shown on the download page.

Statistics

Stats in the dashboard breaks downloads down by link, region and device, and can export CSV.
